Partnerway helps AppsYouLove Secure 3 months of free AWS usage

AppsYouLove is a mobile game development company that creates captivating experiences for mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play platforms.

Challenge

AppsYouLove aimed to obtain AWS startup credits for their new spin-off project, Magify, while also restructuring their cloud infrastructure to align with AWS best practices.

The AWS setup that AppsYouLove had posed significant challenges. Much of the workload was housed under their Management account, which did not comply with AWS best practices. This misalignment complicated resource management and cost allocation, leading to inefficiencies in overseeing their cloud environment. 

As the AppsYouLove team prepared to launch Magify, having an optimized cloud management strategy was critical. Moreover, AppsYouLove needed to secure AWS credits to minimize the financial burden of the Magify project. 

However, the disorganized account structure limited their visibility into spending across various AWS services, increasing the risk of overspending and making it difficult to efficiently reorganize their cloud resources.

Solution

The restructuring of AppsYouLove's entire organization presented a perfect opportunity to utilize AWS startup credits for Magify, their new spin-off project that had become independent.

To make the most of this opportunity, AppsYouLove brought in specialists from Partnerway to optimize their cloud spending in several critical areas:
